Oro Ring Keeper was born from real life, real hardship, and a genuine need for something practical, beautiful, and meaningful.
In 2020, my world changed overnight when my partner was diagnosed with Stage 4 bowel cancer, which had already spread to his liver at the time of diagnosis. What followed were years filled with hospital appointments, chemotherapy, radiotherapy, surgeries, recovery periods, and long days spent navigating a life that suddenly became centred around health, hygiene, care, and survival.
During this time, one thing became increasingly frustrating — constantly removing my jewellery, even for the simplest of everyday tasks.
Whether it was washing hands repeatedly throughout the day, preparing food safely during treatment, helping with personal care, attending hospital appointments, or sanitising constantly to reduce the risk of infection, I found myself taking rings off countless times a day. Like many people, my jewellery held emotional and sentimental value, and the fear of misplacing precious rings, damaging stones, or contaminating them became a daily worry.
Leaving rings on kitchen sides, balancing them on sinks, putting them into pockets or handbags — it was stressful, inconvenient, and simply not practical during such an emotionally overwhelming period of life.
That is where the idea behind Oro Ring Keeper truly began.
I wanted something elegant, luxurious, and easy to use. A piece that allowed women to safely wear and protect their rings without compromising hygiene, comfort, or style. Something that could seamlessly fit into everyday life whilst still feeling premium and beautiful enough to wear proudly.
After years of researching concepts, testing styles, and speaking with manufacturers around the world, Oro Ring Keeper officially launched in early 2026 with one clear vision:
